175 Days of Giving

175 Days of Giving

July 9th 2024

Tomorrow, we begin our 175 Days of Giving in conjunction with our celebration of 175 years of serving the children of South Carolina who are deaf/hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired, and sensory multi-disabled.  Our goal is and always has been to provide the most current education and training so our students can live full and productive lives.  We have no mission or goal other than this.  Over the next 175 Days of Giving, we will be shining a light on how this is done and the impact your gifts have on our students.  Each post will highlight a program or activity that is directly supported by the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation and the gifts made by our generous donors.  As you read our posts over the next 175 days, we hope you will gain a better knowledge of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind and how your support makes a difference in the lives of our students.

During our 175th Anniversary Celebration, the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation set a goal to raise $750,000 to support the programs and activities at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind.  As of June 30, we are 78% of the way there. We hope at least one of the posts during the 175 Days of Giving will inspire you to make your own gift to help change the lives of the students that we serve.  To do so, please visit our website at www.scsdbfoundation.org. Every gift, big and small, gets us one step closer to our goal and more financial support for the programs and activities supported by the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation.
