Day 12

Tina Lyon serves at the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation’s Immediate Past Chairwoman.  Tina joined the Board in 2020.  Tina is very involved in the community, having served as a member of the Spartanburg Little Theater Board and the Spartanburg Art Museum Board; President of the Parent’s Club at Spartanburg Day School and a member of Spartanburg City Council Public Safety Committee.  Tina graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA degree in Elementary Education and she holds a Masters in Elementary Education from Converse College.  She taught elementary school for 8 years in Spartanburg County District One.  She is married to David Lyon and they have three adult children.  Tina is looking forward to continuing to serve on the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation board this year as well as in the future.
