Day 14

Author Kristin Smedley spent the morning of February 20, 2024 reading to all the schools and also had individual group discussion with classes.  Kristin is a mother of two sons who are blind and has written several books documenting her journey.  She is an advocate for all children with disabilities.  The SCSDB Foundation bought each child a book to take home with them as well as a book for each teacher for their classroom.
