The Fluor Field House was dedicated in September 2015. It was a needed addition to our T.W. Edwards, Jr. – Civitan Sports Complex. The field house added both men’s and women’s restrooms as well as a home and visitors’ locker room to utilize during Home football games, practices and Track and Field events.
The track is used daily by the students at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind as well as during Residential Life programs. The community also utilizes the track daily for recreation and exercise purposes. We are thankful for our community partners who helped us bring this project to reality. Partners include Golf for Greenville Flour Corporation, J.M. Smith Corporation, Spartanburg County, Downtown Sertoma Club of Spartanburg, F.W. Symmes Foundation, Kohler, Cherokee Masonry, Lowe’s, and Southeastern Paper Group.
A building with a sign reading "Fluor Field House" stands under a clear blue sky. A picnic table is placed outside. Text on the image reads, "School for the Deaf and the Blind Foundation - 175 Days of Giving." A green and white logo is also displayed.
