Every summer, the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) hosts a summer camp for students across South Carolina who are deaf, blind, and sensory multi-disabled. This is a time where kids who are not students at SCSDB come to our campus in Spartanburg and immerse themselves in an environment built just for them. It is a week filled with spirited competition and cultural exploration. Campers engage in thrilling activities, such as flying drones and learning to garden and build things, where they face new challenges and make new friends. The Foundation is always happy to support Summer Camp (or SCSDB Summer Camp) and offer new and exciting opportunities to the children who attend.
