Day 6

If you can believe it, our students will be back on campus in less than one month for the start of a new school year.  Our teachers need your help to make sure the students have everything they need to be successful this upcoming school year.  Each of our schools has wish list of items that our teachers need and we would love your help to support our teachers and students.  The wish lists can be found at:  https://www.scsdbfoundation.org/wish-list.

Each year we have several community partners who do school supply drives to help our students.  One of those partners is Sherman College of Chiropractic, located here in Spartanburg.  For the past few years, they have done a school supply drive on their campus and donated the supplies to our students.  When they brought the supplies, it would have taken two men and a boy to bring in all of the supplies.  They are also very generous to our students at Christmas time.  They received some students’ names to buy Christmas presents for and bought their whole wish list.  The students were so excited and thankful. Because of all their selfless generosity to our students, Sherman College of Chiropractic was awarded the 2024 Hearts and Hands Award.
